L-J started her career as an Osteopath at Canberra City Health Network where she worked for 2 years under the guidance of Dr BJ Field. She then returned to Melbourne to The Osteopathic Clinic to begin working in and growing the family business.

L-J has previously lectured at Victoria University in many subjects including rehabilitation and osteopathic clinical skills and continues to mentor intern osteopaths within the clinic.

Since having her twins in October 2020 she saw an opportunity to undertake extra training in pelvic health. She completed her Pelvic Health Level One and Advanced Prolapse course with The Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute of Australia. Which has her well-equipped to diagnose and treat a range of conditions related to the pelvic region, such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pregnancy-related discomfort. She uses a holistic approach to care, taking into account the unique needs and concerns of each patient.

As a mum she knows how difficult the pregnancy and post partum period can be for both new and experienced mums. She hopes to inspire, educate and empower mums to feel strong and confident in their bodies.

L-J is one of the Founding board members of the mental health charity Holla At Me Foundation and understands the impact mental health can have on a person and their healing journey. She uses this knowledge when talking and educating her patients.

L-J loves to keep active and exercise, she goes to the gym each morning and is in the process of returning to sprinting competitively. She uses her personal experience and education from her many courses including her Cert ¾ in Fitness, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Next Level Running gait retraining to create exercise and rehabilitation plans for her patients. L-J believes that movement is key to maintaining good health and preventing injury, and is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their goals through her personalized exercise plans in conjunction with hands-on guidance.

Osteopathic treatment and management is a team sport, it’s not all about what we do in the clinic and LJ will make sure that you understand your role in the healing journey.

In the treatment room with LJ you can expect a friendly, empathetic and good listener.
